Some "artistic" pics

This is what happens when I have too much time on my hands. I love photobucket.

Keith & Kandis's wedding!

I don't have any pics from the actual ceremony since I was recording it, but here's some from the day!

Brotherly love!

Ah, Jeremy- the perpetual goofball!

The day was beautiful and the bride and groom looked so happy. Welcome to the family, Kandis, and congratulations to you both!

All smiles!

It's practically impossible to capture Ava's smile on camera. She seems to be a bit camera shy, but here's a pretty good (although blurry) one from when she first wakes up. Somehow, she's a morning person- she definitely didn't get that from Brandon or I!

And just for laughs, here's the look she gets when she's falling into her formula induced coma:

Ava first rolled over from her tummy to her back on August 4th, which was incredibly exciting. She only does it sporadically now, but when she gets in the swing of things, she's a rolling machine!

Mr. Handyman!

Brandon has been on a handyman kick lately, and our house has been the lucky recipient of all this! He transformed our mismatched bedroom furniture into classy furniture that we're proud to own and show off. And, to top all that off, he built (yes, BUILT) us a headboard, which looks amazing!

Here's our bed before:

2 month checkup!

Ava had her two month check up today, and she is definitely growing fast! She weighted 11 lbs 6 oz and is now 23 inches long. This put her in the 30th percentile, and the doctor said everything about her looked perfect! She got her first set of immunizations as well, which was equally painful for us. I've never heard her cry that way before, and it definitely broke my heart! Luckily, she was able to calm down easily after, and she's back to being her happy, social self!

In other news, Ava is becoming rather mobile in her sleep. It's always a surprise for us to see which way she's laying in the morning. We put her down long-ways and swaddled at night, and this is how we found her this morning:

I think that's about a 100 degree rotation there! And she broke free of the blankets, so no more swaddle for her! This girl never fails to amaze us.

You want some cats?

Cool, you can have mine! We just have too many cats, and adding a baby to the mix doesn't make it any easier! Overall, they're really good cats, but it's just too much right now. Oreo and Tiger are looking for a good home(s), and it's bonus points if they can stay together. They're brother and sister and have been together their entire lives. Here's some pics:

Tiger is a really low-key cat, but she gets startled easily. She's somewhat the "anti-cat," as you can tell her "no," and she'll actually listen! She definitely knows what the rules are and she aims to please.

Oreo is a black and white version of Garfield. He's this big, husky cat that loves to play with Tiger and our other cat, April. He even enjoys the occasional tussle with the dog. He's not really fat, he's just a big guy. To top it off, he has a kitten's meow, so there's definitely a softie under there!

Let me know if you're interested in either of the two. Like I said, we'd love to keep them together, but if they're both going to good, separate homes, we'll be happy for them!

Some pics of our little family!

Those that also frequent my myspace page have already seen these, but for the rest that haven't, here are some of our little family!

Ava has now outgrown most of her newborn clothes and is in 0-3 and 3 month clothes. I can't believe how fast she has grown; I feel like she was just born!

She has her 2 month check up next week (despite the fact she'll be nearly 3 months!), so we'll post her current stats then.
